The Resort and the Sport

The Oscar Inn Eco Resort is an enterprise envisioned and built by the former Brazilian soccer player José Oscar Bernardi. He played in the 1978 World Cup (Argentina), and ‘82 (Spain), and ‘86 (Mexico). He was elected the best Defender of the competition in his two first Cups.

In 2000, Oscar created the Oscar Sports Group, a training center idealized for receiving, training, and promoting young soccer talents inside the Brazilian, and International market. The success was so big, that the Oscar Inn Sports Eco Resort (nowadays called Oscar Inn Eco Resort) was inaugurated on December 14th 2003, built on 220.000 m² natural area.

The resort is located 170km away from São Paulo (capital city), in the city of Águas de Lindóia, known as the "Thermal capital of Brazil", and 5 minutes from Monte Sião, city known as the "Fabrics capital". The resort is composed of 60 apartments classified among: Master Suites, Luxe Apartments, and Standard. The guest can also count on services like room service, spa, laundry, Wi-Fi free, massages, aesthetic treatments, physical therapy, workout center, among others.

Structure with quality internationally recognized


FIFA and the Local Organizing Committee of the World Cup 2014 (LOC) selected the Oscar Inn Eco Resort as one of the training options and hosting that could be used by qualified teams for the 2014 World Cup.

In all, the teams of FIFA and the Local Organising Committee inspected 281 fields in 25 states and the Federal District. The resort was visited by several delegations: Belgium, Germany, Japan, Russia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Ivory Coast and Uruguay.

After several visits, the delegation of the Ivory Coast selected the resort for its training center for the competition.
